Foundry Coke, a subgroup of metallurgical coke, is the carbonized product remaining after blended coals are heated in an oven for a period of time. This is a special coke that is used in furnaces to produce cast and ductile iron products. It is a source of heat and also helps maintain the required carbon content of the metal product. Foundry coke production requires lower temperatures and longer times than blast furnace coke.
NCML specializes in manufacturing Low Ash and High Carbon dense Foundry Grade Coke suitable for foundry cupola-based operations.
Today NCML works with major regional Foundry operators in the Eastern and Southern Foundry Industrial Landscape
