Today, with years of experience in the industry we have built robust supply chain relationships with all major Ferro Chrome manufacturers as the leading manufacturers and suppliers of high-quality coke products.

Milestones

2003-04

The company started its commercial production with installation of 1st Battery consisting of 32 Ovens with Annual Production capacity of 20,000 MT.
The turnover of FY 2003-04 was Rs. 16.58 crores.

2005-06

The company added the capacity with installation of 2nd Battery consisting of 32 Ovens with Annual Production Capacity of 20,000 MT. This increased the installed Capacity to 40,000 MT P.A.
The turnover of FY 2005-06 was Rs. 35.42 crores.

2010-11

The company further installed the 3rd Battery consisting of 32 Ovens with Annual Capacity of 20,000 MT. The total increased installed Production capacity became 60,000 MT PA.
The turnover of 2010-11 was Rs. 111.02 crores.

2021-22

The company strategically augmented its Production capacity by adding 4th Battery having 36 Ovens with Annual Capacity of 24,000 MT through Conversion arrangement. The Annual capacity increased to 84,000 MT.
The turnover of FY 2021-22 was Rs. 199.19 crores.

2022-23

The company strategically entered into Southern India Market by taking up a Coke manufacturing Plant on Lease having Annual production Capacity of 18,000 MT. This has positioned the Company with an Annual Capacity to 1,02,000 MT.
The turnover of FY 2022-23 was Rs. 266.21 crores.

Nilachal Carbo Metalicks Limited operates a cutting-edge facility in Chadheidhara, Jajpur, Odisha, with three non-recovery, Bee Hive-type coke oven batteries and a production capacity of 60,000 MTPA. We also have an additional 42,000 MTPA capacity through tolling arrangements, located in Odisha and Andhra Pradesh.

To further enhance our production, we plan to expand our Jajpur plant by 48,000 MT with two new coke plants, increasing our total capacity to 150,000 MTPA.

Zero usage of Ground water for production from FY 2021-22

The Company has explored innovative method by drawing of water through a dedicated pipeline laid by the company with a distance of 2KM from an abandoned stone quarry for long term sustainable basis to avoid usage of ground water for its production process. Water is the major key component for production process for cooling down 1200 degree + temperature hot coke. The water consumption per day is 50,000 KL +

Green Coverage through plantation from FY 2021-22

The company has planted more than 1500 grown-up trees in the plant premises and surrounding area to protect the environment.

Manufacturing of ULP Coke from FY 2024-25

In the FY 2024-25 company has developed a niche product in its current production line by sole manufacturing of Ultra Low Phos Coke, which is an Import substitute.
